Associate Editor, African Journalism Studies

African Journalism Studies is seeking an Associate Editor to join its editorial team.

This opportunity is aimed at established scholars with a strong research and publication record in journalism and media studies, particularly those with expertise in African and/or Global South journalism.

Role

The Associate Editor will contribute to:

• manuscript handling and peer review
• engagement with the editorial board and wider scholarly community
• strengthening the journal’s visibility and intellectual reach

Relevant editorial, peer-review, or journal-management experience is an advantage.
