The conference theme is “Trust and Truth in the Age of AI.” It invites research on how artificial intelligence is reshaping communication processes, journalism, political communication, strategic communication, public trust, platforms, and media institutions.
Topics include
- AI, verification, and fact-checking cultures
- misinformation, disinformation, and information disorder
- local journalism, conflict reporting, and public trust
- AI and political communication
- computational propaganda and persuasive communication
- platform cultures and communicative inequalities
- datafication, surveillance, and digital communication
- AI in public relations and strategic communication
- institutional trust, transparency, and organizational credibility
- crisis communication in AI-shaped media environments
The call welcomes completed research and research in progress. Proposals should explain the study’s purpose, relevance, methods, and actual or anticipated findings.
