This earlier research grew out of my 2008 M.A. thesis at Addis Ababa University and examined how Ethiopian children in Addis Ababa engaged with PlayStation games, digital technology, globalization, and everyday cultural meaning-making.
The study is included here as part of the longer arc of my work on digital media and communication.
